Your Gamete

I feel bad for those families who cannot have children on their own. Personally I do not know what I would do if I was unable to have children when I was older. But this reading helped me realize that having someone donate one of their eggs to someone else is a lot more difficult than it seems. Knowing that my child is not going to look like me, but another woman would crush me. And I would have no idea what to say if one day my child asked me why he or she doesn’t look like me. But if I wasn’t able to have babies I probably would adopt one because what’s the point in trying to make something where it can’t happen, when you can save a perfectly normal child.

Facebook: why i love it response

Facebook is a good tool that I love to use. I think that it is a good tool that can easily be used to keep in contact with people. For example, I have a friend who I was very close with that moved away to Costa Rica four years ago, and I haven't seen her since. It has also been three years since the last time I heard her voice. Facebook is basically the only way that I stay in contact with her now. Not only is it free, but I get to see how much she has changed through her pictures by simply looking through them. I believe that Facebook is the new MySpace. Personally I used to be on MySpace all the time, leaving wall post to my friends here and there, leaving messages to people. But once I got Facebook two years ago, I barely ever go on MySpace now. Facebook, as sad as it sounds, has helped me become better friends with people. For example, say I meet someone at a party or something, and say they friend request me. I may message them and then we would start talking, exchange numbers, and start talking. Most likely we will try and meet up again at another party or something. I just find Facebook to be a great way to interact with people, stay in touch with others, and meet new friends. Although talking to people is always better in some cases it can save you money. Instead of buying a phone card, you can simply send your friend a wall post, Facebook chat, or a message.
